Welcome to the DVKK "100mph club". This portion of our club was started in Dec 1997 as incentive to all VW owners to take their cars to the track and have fun! Our idea was to set a goal that would create a difficult yet obtainable task that all street VW's could participate in. The 100mph club is for all street driven air cooled vw's (must have valid insurance) that can achive, or better 100mph on the 1/4 mile in street trim! (see rules below). For some this may seem easy, but for most this is a real barrier. Only a few of our own members have the honour of displaying the "100mph life member" decal on their cars! Weekend after weekend we have seen more and more familliar faces turn up at the track, tweeking and tuning their VW's in an attempt at beating their best friend or a fellow club member in becoming the next addition to the 100mph club. Some well known names in the VW world have joined the ranks this past year including, Bernard Newberry, Keith Seume and Mark Herbert (AKA= Super sh#t box). Vehicles must be street driven VW's with valid insurance (no permits allowed). Slicks are o.k. but if you are using them we prefer that they are recaps or DOT approved for 75 wreet use. Vehicles must have some type of bumpers. (nerf or T-bars are welcome).

If you qualify and you have a time slip, copy of insurance and photo of your car send it to us and we'll add you to the club, and send you a 100mph decal for your window.
